Manvir from Front Desk was exceptional! Sadly the Jetted Tub in our room is not working. First night, the public hot tub was not working but they fixed it on the next day. Breakfast options were okay. The location is good it has a perfect view of the Lighthouse.
Location was great - close to the beach. Rooms were a bit dated but very clean and well-maintained. Rooms don't have coffee makers but they do have a microwave and mini fridge (and lobby has coffee). The complimentary breakfast also has a cappuccino maker (but that's only available during breakfast).
Beautiful rooms and cleaners were so friendly and good at what they do. I was not amused to be charged $10 for an early check-in considering the room was available. This was part of a block booking for so many friends and family of a wedding party. I just hope I get my $10 and tax back
The overall experience was great. Our room was clean and the pillows were nice and soft. We appreciated the hotel's location, which is very close to the beach. Breakfast was great with typical offerings. The only disappointment was that coffee and USB charging outlets were not available in the room, only in the lobby area.
Rooms and pool were clean, staff were friendly. Close to lake!! However, lack of change rooms/bathroom stalls for pool and lobby was a bit odd. Overall stay was great for how busy they seemed to be. Breakfast and fresh coffee and juice in the am was perfect! Fridge was on to high, maintenance was readily available to assist in fixing the temperature. Would definitely stay again!
I stayed in this hotel for two weeks. During my time here the staff was incredibly kind. Ashley, Nikalea (I think that’s how you spell her name) and Manvir were very kind. At one point I was horribly sick. Ashley and Manvir took the time out of their day to make sure I had everything I needed to feel better. The hotel manager always smiled and said good morning to me, even though I looked like something the cat drug in. The wait staff in the dining area were very quick to clear the tables. The hotel itself was incredibly clean. If you’re staying in sylvan lake, this is the hotel you wanna be at. Thank you for a very wonderful stay at your hotel.
Pros: location is close to the lake; room was clean and bed was comfortable, large smart TV and there is a microwave oven in the rooms. Cons (based on my preference): Coffee and hot water are available in the lobby but they aren't very hot. Coffee feels dilute. Hot water in the bathroom isn't really hot enough to us. FYI in case if you are curious: There is no coffee machine in the room. Breakfast area had two apples there as fruits. There is a waffle station and they give you syrup to go with it. Tea bags provided are the unwrapped ones. Not sure if the above is a weekday/winter/low season thing or if it's their standard amenities.
I had an incredible experience here! I booked out the entire hotel for a work event, and the hotel delivered an experience above and beyond. Extra-early check-in, a plethora of food restrictions accommodated, wonderful staff, clean and professional rooms and conference centre, and the cafe were all amazing qualities that myself and my group were provided. I look forward to enjoying more experiences here for both work and leisure in the future.
